My absolute favorite for this month, though, was Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover. This book was absolutely amazing. Definitely one of my all time favorites. We have the opportunity to go to a book signing for CoHo next month in Savannah and I AM SO EXCITED THAT I CAN BARELY BREATHE. She is becoming one of my favorite authors.
Great reading month, Leah! Nice way to kick off the year. :) I'm so glad to hear that Half Blood was so good. I am sooo excited to start that series! I know we share a love for JLA. <3
ReplyDeleteI thought Love, Rosie was cute when I read it a couple years ago. I only recently found out there's a movie. Miss Peregrine's... meh. It was okay but I totally missed what all the fuss was about. Paper Towns... okay. Not my favorite John Green. Inexcusable... ugh.
I'm totally excited to read Never Never! And speaking of CoHo, I about squealed out loud when I saw you read Maybe Someday. OMG, Leah, I can't even tell you how much I love that book and those characters and that story and even the music. Love, love, love. In fact, it was my top read of 2014... until I read Ugly Love. So my top 2 picks were both from Colleen. No surprise there! I just loved Ridge and Sydney so much and my heart broke at their situation. What got me, what Colleen did to give all the feels, was that there were no bad guys, and there were no good decisions. No matter what, people got hurt. Oh, it killed me. Tears, tears, tears. I was just listening to the song Maybe Someday over the weekend. :)
My faves of the month were Hothouse Flower by Krista & Becca Ritchie (love their Addicted series!) and Leo by Mia Sheridan. It was my first by her but definitely won't be the last!
I'm going to look up the ones you said were your favorites. I haven't seen either, so I'm going to check them out!
ReplyDeleteI wish you could come to the Colleen Hoover signing in a few weeks! I know you share our love for her. Maybe Someday is one of my all time favorite books now. I love it so so much.
Stop. Everything. A CoHo signing??? When and where? I need info before I hyperventilate! lol A road trip to SC might be in my future... :)
