7 Books Besides 50 Shades of Grey

If you're like some people you might have read Fifty Shades of Grey and thought: Handsome CEO billionaire, falls for shy girl, and sweeps her off her feet with whimsy.

If you're like me then you probably read Fifty Shades of Grey had a different idea: Handsome man turns out to be a super stalker, with insanely odd rules, and is beyond controlling.

So if you want to read something like 50 Shades but don't want the freak factor here are a list of 7 books or series you should pick up. All these books feature powerful steamy heartthrobs that you wont fear will end up making a skin suits out of you.

The Crossfire Series by Sylvia Day

This is probably the most known and most popular of all the books on this list. It is also the series that is most compared to 50 Shades. However if you're looking for a book with a powerful CEO who owns practically all of New York and you don't want the psycho stalking that Mr. Grey gives off; this might just be the series for you. Gideon Cross might have his jealous moments, but he isn't one to keep his soft side from showing.

WallBanger by Alice Clayton

I'm personally only going to recommend book one of this series. Wallbanger is about a sexy, loud lovin', next door neighbor will have you laughing and swooning at the same time. With a title and cover I loved to hate it was easily a book I ended up liking. If you're looking for cheese look no further.

Beautiful Bastard Series by Christina Lauren

If you follow our blog you know my love for these two writers! When it comes to New Adult and Adult these two can do no wrong. Not only do they write amazing leading males, but they write some of my favorite leading fems. Each guy in this series is strong, powerful, and oh so steamy. You can get all the badass business man fix you need with these and wont be afraid to sleep at night. Also there's are a ton of books and novellas in this series to keep you busy for a long time.

Breathless Series by Maya Banks

This series has some of my favorite covers. So simple and so wonderful. This band of men know what they want and they wont go down without a fight. This series might be the most "out there" in some of the directions it goes, but if you're looking for a good time read that is different I would recommend grabbing these.

 Hacker Series by Meredith Wild

Within the last year I've seen this series popping up all over the place. I believe it has even recently (like several others on this list) rights were picked up for a movie. This is the series I would probably recommend for anyone who is starting to get into Adult Romance. A series containing a laid back, sexy, laid back computer whiz is a series I can get behind.

Bad Romeo Duology Lesia Rayven

These two novels straddle the line of New Adult and Young Adult. Also is probably the most cutesy. A sweet novel about love lost then found again. It did take me to the second book to appreciate this series. A story that does take sometime to get into but I think the payout is worth it.

Wild Seasons Series by Christina Lauren

I saved the best for last. This series is by far my favorite on this list. As the series grew I would love the next book more than the pervious. Three girls go on a college graduation trip to Vegas where they end up getting more than what they bargained for when they wind up getting married. This series has some of my all time favorite characters both male and female. Christina Lauren also pull all the stops when it comes to plot twists and development.
